Propagation
Description Soil Water
Easily cultivated in 2:1 peat:sand, kept standing in 1" water from March to October, but a winter dormancy is necessary with reduced water and temps. Half hardy (min: -5C) can be overwintered outdoors in protected spots in the South of England. 2:1 peat:sand Keep wet. Stand in tray of water at all times during growing season.

Comments
Don't play with the traps - the mechanism used to close the traps uses a lot of energy. Each trap will close about four times before it dies.
Don't feed dead food - they need live prey otherwise the traps just rot.
Watch for blackfly - treat with houseplant blackfly spray.
